How this site makes money

Equipment Finance HQ is a free, independent publication. Here's the honest version of our business model:

• Some links on this site are referral links to lenders or lending marketplaces. If you apply through one and get funded, they may pay us a commission.
• That commission comes out of the lender's marketing budget — it does not change the rate or fees you're offered. Lenders pay the same referral fees regardless of which borrower arrives.
• We are not a lender and not a broker. We don't see your application, we don't make credit decisions, and we don't negotiate on your behalf.
• Our guides say the same things whether or not a partner is involved — including telling you to get quotes from dealers and manufacturers we have no relationship with, because comparing offers is genuinely the right move.
